Mickey Maus wundderraus

A poster as tribute to the icon Mickey. Icons like him are easily put out of context nowadays. Thats why this poster is a symbol for the communal usage of an icon. And how easy it is to put these icons out of context. This communal use creates a form of vagueness (noise). Is the Mickey Mouse we know nowadays as innocent als we knew him from the Disney cartoons or is he a sinister type.

This Poster was part of RUIS an exhibition at SEXYLAND (Amsterdam). The exhibition focused on miscommunication, fake new, white noise and every other possible way of creating NOISE.
