CHARGE is an exhibition about tension and energy. About build-up, repetition and pressure. From that starting point it shows a selection of my work, with my love for maximalist graphic design at its centre: big statements, dense compositions and typography that claims its space.
The works play with force and readiness. Not as an explosion, but as constant tension. An engine that keeps running. A technological system that never has enough. Form as energy and repetition.
With strong colour and bold shapes the posters and screen prints look at power, aggression and the claiming of space, in a time where visual excess and constant stimulation seem to be taking over.
